FRANCHISEE SUPPORT AND TRAINING: WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FRANCHISOR

Image
Franchisee support and training are crucial elements of a successful franchising partnership. Franchisors typically provide comprehensive training programs covering operations, product knowledge, and customer service protocols. Ongoing guidance assists franchisees in navigating challenges and maintaining brand standards. Marketing support aids in local promotions and brand visibility. Access to established supply chains and technology platforms streamlines business operations. Regular communication, webinars, and field support ensure continuous learning. Transparent expectations and a robust support system foster franchisee success by aligning them with the franchisor's expertise, resources, and collective growth objectives. https://www.franchise2sell.com.au/blogs/evaluation/franchisee-support-and-training-what-to-expect-from-the-franchis

Putting his business in the picture

Image
Gary Mitchell knows just how much the world of small business has changed over the past 30 years. He credits the SBDC with helping him get through the tough times to help his business thrive. For more than 30 years, Gary Mitchell has been carving a niche in WA’s small business landscape. His business, Framous Picture Framing, offers a range of services including framing photos, memorabilia, posters, prints and mirrors, and repairing and restoring artwork and frames. We asked Gary for some insights into how he has sustained his business over three decades of change. Do what you love Gary’s enthusiasm for his work is obvious. It’s also likely to be one of the key reasons he has enjoyed so much longevity in business. “I roll up in the morning and have a smile on my face when I put the key in the door,” says Gary. “Of course, there are times when it’s not a joy but overall it’s an absolute joy to come to work.” https://www.smallbusiness.wa.gov.au/blog/putting-his-business-pictur...

How to resolve common business vehicle issues

Image
Do you feel like a vehicle you purchased for your business has been more trouble than it’s worth? No one likes the idea of having purchased a lemon, especially given the expense of buying a vehicle and your expectation of how it will save you time and money. As warranty periods can be limited, especially for second hand vehicles, the most important thing you can do is run through some due diligence steps before making your purchase. Things to check before purchasing a second hand vehicle When purchasing a second hand vehicle, the warranties and guarantees you’re entitled to will depend on whether you are purchasing from a licenced dealer or privately (including online or at auction). A dealership will generally provide a limited warranty for used vehicles, and be subject to obligations under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), however when you purchase privately there are no warranties or guarantees making it a ‘buyer beware’ situation. https://www.smallbusiness.wa.gov.au/blog/how-res...
